第二版ということで、5系以上の機能を取り入れて改訂されていた。やはりすばらしい本。

第一版が出版された2001年から7年が経ち、ようやく第二版の出版となりました。
多かれ少なかれJavaで飯を食っていくなら読んどかないとまずい。

第一版からの変更点はJava5で追加された、ジェネリクス、enum型、アノテーション、オートボクシング、for-eachループ
java.util.concurrentパッケージへの対応。

各章、最初にJavaで設計・コーディングを行う上ですべきこと/避けるべきことが書かれており、その後、理由と実現方法が続くという構成になっている。
