よくある短編集です。 最後の話はさっさと終わらせてしまった感があるのでちょっと物足りないかも。

食堂のTanさんの話と、特殊学校で才能を見つける少年の話が好き。

第一話：本人に向いていないことを無理矢理やらせても時間の無駄。過度の期待は禁物。

第二話：騙されたことを知らなければ幸せ。

第三話：気質に問題のある少年が特殊学校で矯正され、才能を見出す、まではよい。
危機から救出できた理由がファンタジー過ぎる。

第四話：職に貴賎なし。

第五話：ラストのオチをきちんと説明するのが面倒なので、
とりあえずＳＦにして終わらせたって感じのお話。

○あらすじ

昔話ばかりして店を手伝わない夫の話“Quick Man Tan”、

古い店に掛けられている舵輪が先祖ゆかりのものだからと

欲しがる夫婦の話“The Wheel on the Wall”、

多くの問題を抱える男の子が自分の問題を克服していく話“Special Clay”、

息子のために自転車タクシーでお金を稼ぐ父親の話“The Trishaw Man”、

CDのような不思議なものを発見した女性の話“Beautiful Thing”の5話を収録。

（あらすじは参考程度にお願いします。要約とかは苦手なもので…）


☆感想☆

ちょっと一休みしようかと、レベルの低い本を探したんですが、

どうも目につく本がなかったので、未読GRの中から選んでみました。


んー、まあまあでしょうか（苦笑

でも、最後の“Beautiful Thing”は、続きが気になって気になって…ｗ


合間に読むくらいでちょうど良い本でした（爆
