「高慢と偏見」をヒントに書いた現代版小説で、普通の英国の若い（？）独身女性の日常生活が楽しかったし、笑わせてもらいました。テンポがよく意外な展開もあります。彼がブジットを好きになる過程はよくわからなかったけど・・・。「高慢と偏見」「嵐ヶ丘」などの文学作品やＴＶ番組、雑誌や食べ物などを知って読むと楽しさが増します。クリマススイベントへの彼女の気持ちには、同感。
