敬語攻め、あと若干のヤンデレも感じます(笑)

このお話好きなんですが、ヒロインの話し方かちょっと受け付けない。
なんでそんな話し方なの??
おまえ呼びは男であれ女であれ聞いてて気持ちいいものではないですよね。

ハーレクインのヒーローで敬語って珍しい気がします。
健気度もヒーローの方がある気がします(笑)
結婚できて良かったね。

あと題名になってる二つの顔っていうのが意味不明。

ヒーローの丁寧な言葉遣いが逆に冷たい印象を受けて、あまり好きではなかった。かっこいいですけどね^^;

The story itself is not bad at all, but this version lacks proper illustration quality and doesn't quite catch the feelings that the original novel delivers.
I bet the illustrator / mangaka-san doesn't even have a single clue of what Latin people, especially Latino men, look like. Anton keeps saying he's Latino but obviously not convincing whatsoever. Moreover, he doesn't look like someone who was raised as an upper-class Englishman either. Cristina is even more horrible than Anton. Why the hell does she have to address him "Omae" instead of "Anata"? He's not her servant, he never was. I've read the Japanese translated version of the novel before, and in the book, Cristina does not call him Omae, not a single time. She calls him Anata or Luis. I do know there are so many ways of saying "You" in Japanese but I don't get the importance of calling him that way. It pretty much ruins the atmosphere.
I wonder if the illustrator actually read the original novel, or just looked over the synopsis. Because all the characters seem very much OOC here.The tempo, the dialogues, the heat- well, it's just all wrong.
The one star is for Michelle Reid, the original writer. Zero for this comic book. Sorry. But seriously, you have to be most respectful of the original stuff when you "borrow" them to make your money. Besides, doing at least a little research wouldn't hurt, would it?

イギリスの大銀行の跡取りアントンが、遊学で行ったブラジルで出会ったクリスティーナと激しい恋に落ちるが、別れを告げられ、6年後、父の遺言のために憎しみを持ちながら再会する。

表紙でちょっと画力が？と思ったが気にならない展開(表紙が一番気になった)。
ラテン系らしく？結構エロ描写あり。
ハーレクインに珍しく、ヒロインがおまえ呼びをする。
別れを告げた理由が意外だった。
お決まりのすれ違いも十分。
