It was very hard time for them. Also, Laura has grown up a lot. She is now thinking in her own way. She started to go to school, and have a relationship with other people than family members. When I was a little kid, I admired the life in nature, but now as a parent, I really appreciate the city life. However, I remebered a lot of important thing, like love is the most powerful, or money can't buy everything... I really hope my daughter will also read this book and like it.

ついに村に定住し、ローラとメアリーも学校に。
この時代がTVドラマで描かれている。
意地悪ネリーとの闘いがすごい。
ローラは気が強くて絶対負けないから気持ちいい。

長々読んでましたが、やっとこさ読了。初めは洞窟？みたいなところに住んでましたが後に家を立てるインガルス一家。クリスマスエピソードも多くて季節感たっぷりでした。
しかし猛吹雪でロープをつたって小屋に行くとかスゴイですね。

後半部分は特に、うるうるするところがたくさん。
教会でのクリスマスのくだりも温かかい。
家族や人を思いやる気持ちで溢れてる。
