日本人にとって馴染みのない英単語がけっこう出てきますが、挿絵が要所要所に使われているので、それらが理解の助けになると思います。けっこうぶっ飛んだ展開なので、ぜひ大人の常識は忘れてお読みください（笑）

I enjoyed this book. Let me share the funny things that I thought.
First, George’s grandma is peculiar and she likes eating bugs. She tried to force George to eat them. According to your common sense, you can not imagine to eat them. That’s why you should take away your sense in order to dive into this story.
Second, George came up with a funny idea against her attitude. The notion was to make a new medicine. He put a lot of things into a saucepan. The things were no eatable substances. That was incredible, but he made it!
Lastly, he gave the medicine to her. As a result, she became as big as a house. That was funny.
In conclusion, you could really enjoy the book if you removed your adult sense. The book was crazy in a good way.

私の貧弱な英語力でも内容が理解でき、楽しめた。挿絵も素晴らしい。だが話の結末には少々びっくりした。
