Poor sarvants. They just had a bad master...

The merchant promised for the beast to send the beast one of his daughters in the Disney movie.
It was a terrible promise.
But in this book, the merchant promise "the first creature the merchant see when he get home".
The merchant promised the beast, because he thoght the creature will be his chickens.

We must never judge anyone by how they look. It is a lesson...為政者は約束を違えてはならないとかじゃないのか…子ども向けのお話だからな。

This story is very famous all over the world. I know this story off course, but I enjoyed this book. This traditional tale told not to judge by appearance. Finally, a love of Bell helped the beast. It was very romantic and loved by all girls in the world.
