木の上の猫を、みんなが助けようとする微笑ましいお話。
子供向けなので、絵を見れば内容がわかります。使われている単語も簡単なものですが、知らなかった使い方もあって勉強になりました。

木の上のネコを救出しようとする親子のお話です。
ウィルマや彼女のお父さんが木に登りますが、途中で動けなくなってしまいます。

登るのは意外に平気なんですけどね。一度下を見てしまうと怖くなって動けなくなってしまう感覚、よくわかります。
でも、レスキュー隊を呼んだらあかんわ！そもそもネコが木登り名人だってこと、知らなかったんでしょうか？

8歳息子と読了。

フロッピーがネコを追いかけるとネコが木に登ってしまい、それを助けるのに人間が四苦八苦するんだけど、実はネコは助けられてなくてももともと木に登ったり降りたりすることができた。。。というお話。

自分の感覚では、ネコは高いところでも平気とう認識なんどけど、イギリスでは文化か違うのかな。。。

Floppy loves cats so he barks at a cat.
The cat run up the tree.
The children came.
Biff was cross.
Wilma climbed the wall.
Wilma finally climbed the tree but didn't get it.
Wilma can't get down.
Wilma's Dad was cross.
He put the ladder up.
She safely get down.
Wilma's dad climbed the tree.
He also couldn't get the cat,
He couldn't get down.
The cat jump down.
The fire man put a ladder up.
Wilma's Dad safely climbed down.
The cat climbed up the tree again.
Everyone said "Oh no!"

Floppy がネコを追い掛けて木の上に追い上げてしまいました。Biff がFloppy を叱ります。ネコは降りられなくなって、Wilma が木に登りますが…？

〇たぶんこのネコちゃん、登り降り平気やと思う。
