Wilma やWilfも一緒に、tree house の修理をします。とても、過ごしやすくなったtree house でparty をしました。

が、次の日、嵐が到来！

tree house は木ごと倒れてしまいました。残念。
でも、その根元から宝箱が。開けてみると大きな鍵が入ってました。
なんの鍵なのかしら！

イギリスでは、嵐でも登校するんだな～。
お父さんの指、いつケガしたんだろう。前の日の釘でかな？

校務員のお兄さん、みっけ！
走り回ってた。

ウィルフとウィルマがビフたちの家に遊びに来て、庭の木の上にあった家を修理します。その夜、嵐がやってきて……

木の家というと、どうしても映画『スタンド・バイ・ミー』を思い出してしまいます。秘密の基地みたいで、大人になった今でも憧れてしまいます。
またビフが寝室の部屋から外を見ている不安げな姿が印象的でした。やっぱり嵐や台風なんで来て欲しくないよね。

8歳息子と読了。

嵐が来てしまってツリーハウスが壊れてしまうんだけど、皆んなで頑張って直すものの、また嵐が来て散々な目に。。。
そしてツリーハウスのツリー自身が倒れてしまうという悲しい結果に。。。

あまりに辛すぎる仕打ち。。。と1人悲しくなっていたらまだこの続きの展開が。

ツリーが倒れたことで掘り返された土の中から何やら宝箱のようなものが見つかる。
その箱の中を開けてみふと魔法の鍵風の鍵が出てくる！

というストーリー。
結果としてはドキドキわくわくする展開になっていて大満足。
次からのシリーズにも期待。

Wilf and Wilma came to play.
They went to the tree house.
The treehouse was a mess!
Dad fixed the roof.
Biff and Wilma fixed the door.
Wilf and Chip painted the door and the wall.
The children put some things inside.
They held a party at the tree house.
That night, Biff saw outside.
There was a storm.
The next day, Wilf and Wilma came.
They went to school.
It was a strong storm.
In school, outside was a very strong storm.
The wind was strong.
The rain was strong.
The mums and dads came.
It was a very strong wind.
The storm was down.
The tree was down.
The tree house was broken.
Floppy found a box.
Everyone looked at the box.
Mum opened it.
They found key inside.
Chip put the box in his room.
