Biff, Chip and their friends went on the school trip to the zoo. It started to rain, so they could not enjoy the zoo. Nadim proposed to go the museum instead of the zoo. They saw the dinosaurs and enjoyed the museum. At last, the magic key started to grow, and the adventure started.

学校の遠足で動物園に行きますが、あいにくの雨。ナディムの提案で恐竜博物館へ。

遠足の最中に児童の一言で行き先を変更しちゃうのは、すごいですね。日本では絶対に考えられないことなので驚きました。ウィルフがトイレ休憩の際にある失敗をしてしまいますが、その姿が昭和の子どもぽくて、とても可愛らしかったです。

魔法の鍵関連の話ですが、冒険に行く前の導入編という感じです。
子どもたちが遠足に行きますが、雨のために動物園の見学ができません。
そこで、Nadimの発案によって博物館に行き、恐竜の化石を見学します。
博物館のショップで恐竜のプラモデルを買って、それを皆でChipの部屋で作っていると、魔法の鍵が光り出して…。
というところで終わりました。
なお、Wilfが川べりで石を蹴った拍子に靴が脱げて川に入ってしまう出来事がありましたが、その靴がどうなったかは今作では触れられていません。
これは次回に伏線が回収されるのだろうと思っています。

今日は学校の校外学習

みんなウキウキ動物園に行ったのだけど、雨が降ってきたのです。
Nadimの意見で博物館へ。恐竜の化石がいっぱい！

〇動物園は残念だったけど、よかったね！
〇科学的には、アパトサウルスとティラノサウルスの姿がちょっぴり違う(2022現在の)。出版当時には違うかったのかも
〇Wilf、結局靴は拾えなかったのね…
・校務員の兄さん、みっけ！
