I have so regretted that why I watched the movie first. This is the one that you should be supposed to read before watching the movie. But even after that, this book gave me so much inspiration and thought of the death. There are so many aphorism by Morrie if you want to check them out. I felt like that this gave me heavy assignment to think about death and life you currently have.

分類をどうするかでちょっと迷った。

抜き書きしたい言葉たちが沢山つまった本。

Morrie先生のように、身に降りかかることを受け止められたら生きていくことが楽になると思う。楽、というより、生きることの喜びをかみしめられるというべきか。

英語はとてもよみやすく、さらりと読めます。日常に使えそうなきちんとした表現が沢山あるので、多読用にもよい本。

This book was written about Morrie, who had ALS and a young man talking on Tuesday. Morrie told some important facts that is inevitable for our life. That's nice.

2005年に初読、今回7年ぶりに手にとりました。前回はMorrie先生のMitchに対する温かい眼差しが印象的でしたが、今回は先生が徐々に衰弱していく中で、その事実を冷静に受け止め、苦しみながらも明るく前向きに過ごす姿に清々しさを感じました。世間に流されず、自分なりの価値観を持ち、自分の家族やコミュニティを大切にする先生の生き方を学びたいなと思いました。

1年前くらいに友達のブクログの本棚にあって気になり、読みたいと思っていた本。

何度も涙が出ました。Morrie先生とMitchの心からの正直で素直な気持ち、本心に触れると、心に響きました。何度も思い出したい実話です。いつの間にか2人のことが大好きでそこに一緒にいて笑っている気分になっていました。
今から家族や愛する人を今日が最後かもしれないと思いながら大切にしたいと心から思いました。自分が生まれさせてもらったこと、今いる家族が奇跡ということを(どの本を読んでもそう思わされますが)、またも感じました。

友人の薦めで読みました。ごく薄い本ですぐに読めました。

amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 筋萎縮性側索硬化症【略】ALS

という難病にかかった教授が、教授の死を目前にして毎週火曜日に２人だけの講義（話）をする、その内容を綴った実話にもとづくお話です。だんだん病状が悪化する様子、だんだん体が小さくなり、食べ物も食べられなくなる様子、読んでいて耐えられませんが、それでも、人生の重要なことについて最後まで話を続ける、ひたむきな姿、生き方が印象的です。

世界について、自分自身について、後悔について、死について、家族について、その他さまざまなことについて真剣に話します。

作者はMitch Albom、アメリカでテレビとかラジオにも出ている人です。

人生の中の重要なことについて語るすばらしい本ではありますが、ちょっと暗いお話ではあります。次回はもうちょっと明るい話題の本を読もうかな。

もう死んでしまう恩師のモーリー先生の教え的な本。
モーリー先生はヒューマニズムに溢れていて素晴らしい。
許すことの大切さだとか、色々あったけれど、最後には読みながら泣いてしまった。
本を読みながら泣いちゃうことってあまりないから、意外。

あまり洋書は読まないんですが、
読みながら初めて泣いた洋書。
大学の先生のお勧めの本。
映画なんかよりも全然良いと思います。
生きることの意味。死ぬことの意味。
考えさせられます。
