It was my first book of Banana Yoshimoto. I happened to encounter this book when I watched moya’s youtube channel, where she highly recommended it so I started to read it.
It did not become one of my favorite books but it was easy to read and made me feel that I want to read her books more. I have not experienced the death of my parents or grandparents, which I don’t want to, but the characters in this book has done it several times. I think I would read it again when I lose someone important to me.
