I wonder why Rapunzel didn't go outside with Pascal before Flyn appeared.
But the book explains it. Mother Gothel told her that she needed the power to handle anything like a ruffian before Papunzel went outside. Rapunzel believed it.
And then…she needed a guide. Because she had no google map.

ラプンツェル視点だと、恐怖で縛り付けてくる毒親から解放されて、安全と愛情に満ちた健全な人間関係を手に入れる話だけど、ユージーン視点だとアラジンの物語を変形させたような話なんだな。盗人が魔法の力に助けられて盗人から足を洗い、お姫様と恋に落ちる、古典的なラブストーリーだ。

I think Tangled is more difficult to read than Frozen, because the writer used unfamiliar words for Japanese in it. However, I was able to imagine the scenes thanks to watching its movie in advance.

I felt happy after reading it since Rapnzel who was kidnapped by Mother Gothel could go outside and find her parents. What is more, she found the true love with Eugine who took her out of confined tower.

邦題『塔の上のラプンツェル』。生まれて間もない頃、何者かにさらわれたプリンセス。プリンセスがいつか無事もどるようにと、誕生日には空に無数の灯りを飛ばす王と女王。一方、森の奥に高い塔の上に住む輝く長い髪を持つ女の子Rapunzelが住んでいました。育ての親Mother GothelはRapunzelを18年間、一度も外に出したことはありませんでした。外の世界は悪で満ちているからというのが理由です。Rapunzelはずっとその言いつけを守ってきましたが、毎年自分の誕生日に空に現れる謎めいた美しい灯りを近くで見たいという気持ちが抑えられなくなりました。Mother Gothelは狂ったように反対します。外の世界へ目を向けていくRapunzelが、真実を見つけ出す過程は面白くて感動的です。映画を観てから読むと、シーンが容易に浮かぶので読みやすくなると思います。
