学部のゼミで使用。ランダウの本らしい簡潔で理知的な教科書。扱っている内容も豊富で、QMの応用ということまで視野に入れた説明は素晴らしいと思う。しかし若干古く、最近のテーマについては触れられていないので物足りない人もいるかもしれない。そこまで求めていない人なら○。内容量対価格から見ても十分満足できる。ただわざわざこの本で勉強する必要性があるかと問われれば何とも言えないかも…。ランダウが好きな人向け？
