  • "They're missing!" the shopkeeper says. "Did you steal them?" (p. 8)
Pete and Carla are students in Bath city in England. Bath has a beautiful Abbey, and they like to walk there together to look for interesting shops. One day, when they walked a quiet street, they found a man playing a flute. There was a hat by him and 4 coins were in it. He played Greensleeves, Carla has known this music. After listening to his music a little, they found a small shop and entered there. That shop sells old stamps and coins. They are all valuable the shopkeeper said. Pete wanted stamps from South Africa, however, Carla did not like the shopkeeper and a girl who works at the shop. So they went out to look at the city. When they had seats at a cafe, the shopkeeper ran up to them with a box of the old coins selled at the shop. The shopkeeper said that some coins are missing and he has suspected Pete and Carla after he found that. But both of them did not do that. Police man came to know what happened. Then they are going to look for who stole the coins.

  • Bath
