4歳のときに髄膜炎で重度の感音性難聴となった主人公のCeCeは大きな補聴器をつけて学校に通います。みんなが気を遣ってゆっくり話したり、deaf friendと呼ばれることにも傷つきます。そんなとき、CeCeの心の中にEl Deafoというスーパーヒーローが現れ彼女の気持ちを代弁してくれるのです。

I thought this book was very good. I liked the part the main character got deaf. because i never was deaf or blind, so it was shocking

A heartwarming, sweet, and adorable graphic novel.
This is showed about the author, Cece Bell who struggled with hearing disability when she was in the primary school.
She struggled with making friends, learning lip-reading, or learning like same as other kids through having the disability, but she achieved them. Cool kid:)
This book encourages kids to fight with hardship.
