Cheetah cubs have soft, long hair. They are so cute.

A zebra's stripes make it hard to see where one zebra ends and another begins.

A giraffe is about as tall as three men standing on each other's shoulders.

Why is there a special name for baby spiders?
They are called spiderlings in English.

Lions rest for about 20 hours every day. A whole day has 24 hours.

There are more than 30 different species of dolphins. Bottlenose dolphins are the species that you likely picture first when you think about dolphins.

Ashore means a location on land.

Seahorses are a kind of fish. I didn't know that.

According to this book, octopuses are as intelligent as cats. I wonder if an octopus would make a good pet.
