BLは、甘く中毒性があるという意味で、チョコレートのようなものかと思っている。私はBL通ではないが、これまで読んだ数少ない同ジャンルの本としては、Iris MurdochのA Fairly Honourable Defeatの方が好みだ。Call Me by Your Nameがブラックサンダーだとすれば、マードックの方は、ゴダイヴァか。ブラックサンダーもおいしいし、主人公が、一夏を共に過ごす、Oliverに一途な思いを寄せるのが、なかなか気恥ずかしく、良い感じではあるのだが、一本調子過ぎて、鼻白む。いくら好きだからといって、持ち主が不在の間に、部屋に忍び込んで海水パンツを履いてみるとかいうのはちょっと気持ち悪いのでは。

This bestseller novel is a love story between an adolescent boy and a summer guest in the house of his parents.
The story focuses on various descriptions of the boy’s (Elio) inner feelings (he is introverted and intelligent).
What he thinks in his mind is sometimes romantic, sometimes intense, etc. It Is interesting to study his emotions.
I recommend this book to people who want to read an unusual love story. (じんじんさん)

At first, I thought Elio was a true gay so I was confused when I found out he also fucks a girl but eventually he only loves no one but Oliver. I was surprised and like wtf when Oliver said he’s married and has children. I was like omgggg whyyyyyy I thought both of you guys were so happy together and totes ship ‘em. I liked this story, beautiful expressions, no directly one’s for like, sex but there were more detailed ones which made me a tad uncomfortable.

エリオがオリバーに夢中になって恋に溺れる心情の描写が、自分の過去の恋愛と重なった。

個人的に後半のテンポが悪いと感じててしまったので星3つ。
