Japanese animation is called "ANIME".

This book introduce Japanese animation since 1917.

Before the ANIME, in Japan, there are the UKIYOE.
The Ukiyoe is not moving, but it is the basic concept of the Manga and the Anime.

You can realize that Japanese sophisticate manner is good for ANIME.
