Although Orwell might have had particular political government system in mind at the time when the book was written (Russian Revolution and Communist Party), the story itself is unbelievably universal and timeless, like Greek myths.

大雑把ではあるけど、英語で書かれた本を初めてまるごと一冊読んだ。
おとぎ話的な位置づけらしく、ツッコミどころは多いが、内容は複雑ではないし、わかりやすく面白い。
動物の部位を示す英単語が予想以上にあることに驚き。
