【新着図書ピックアップ！】写真って、普通は「見せたいモノ」そのものを撮るもんだと思うんだけど、このヒトは違う！
初期三部作の一つ「連夜の街」では娼婦たち自身、ではなく、その娼館を、「1・9・4・7」では写真家と同い年の女性たちの肖像、ではなく、その手その足だけを写して見せた。そして、この「From ひろしま」では被爆者たち、ではなく、その遺品たちを写して見せる。彼女の写真は「ドーナツ」のようで、目の前に置かれると、その真ん中に、ありもしない「穴」が出現する。
「時間」と「記憶」という、写真にとって本質的なものを、ダイレクトに感じさせてくれる写真集！！
「Endless night 2001 : 連夜の街 : 石内都写真集」（748/Is81e）もお勧め！
[New Book!]I think that people take pictures of what they want to show.
But, she doesn't!
In photo book "Endless Night", she shows us pictures of the whorehouse,
not prostitutes themselves. In "1・9・4・7", she shows us the hands and
feet of women of photographer's same age, not their portraits. In this
photo book "From Hiroshima", she shows us mementos of the bomb
victims, not the bomb survivors.
Her photo is like a donut. At the center of it, even if there's nothing, "a
hall" appears.
I guess you can feel essences of photographs, "time" and "memory", from
her photos directly!
Her another book "Endless night 2001: Ren'ya no machi"(748/Is81e) is
also a must see!
