This book provides you with lots of proverbs and sayings that you can see through your ordinary life. By understanding these proverbs , you can grasp the depth of language because large amount of proverbs have been used more than centuries across the borders and languages....This is awesome.

内容はいい。特に米国英語を中心にした口語表現やことわざがおもしろく、解説の英語も平易で分かり易い。

多くは、聖書や説話など古い言葉が多いのだなと感心。Cast pearls before swine.「豚に真珠」も…その他にも日本で生まれたと思っていたことわざが海外発だったことを知り驚き。人間、考えることは然程変わらないと実感。

敢えて言うなら本を持ち運びに便利なコンパクトサイズにして欲しいのと、軽量化。
