　As evocative of the jazz scene as the timbre of Miles Davis's trumpet or the plaintive melodies of Billie Holiday, a Blue Note album cover is always recognizable.

Blue Noteレーベルのレコードジャケットを集めた本。

HelveticaやFuturaなど、おなじみのタイポグラフを巧みに操る、REID MILESの洗練されたアルバムジャケット。Amazonのレビューで「美術書」と書いていた人がいたけど、まさにそれにふさわしく、４０年たった今もなお新鮮で、美しい。Jazzなんて知らない人でも是非手に取ってほしい、中身＋価格ともに満足のいく内容の本。
