This is good text book for Linux.

For developers for Linux, most difficult technical issues are driver codes.

This book provides the most useful information for us.

I used Japanese translation from 1st edition.
Now 3rd edition, USB are good for me.

Though goot to understand basics of device drivers, it's not enough to write real device drivers.
