finished reading " Back on Blossom Street" in English without a dictionary. In my case I don't like reading books in English with a dictionary because it is quite troublesome. Since I enjoy reading books in English that I can enjoy reading with my current reading level, I always don't use my dictionary. However, after finish reading, I sometimes look into some unknown words to expand my vocabulary.

I guess it was my fourth book this year. Ah, I have to push myself to fulfil my New Year's resolution! I decided to read 48 books in English this year, but I just finished my 6th book in English.

Meanwhile, the book is one of my favorite author's series. It is very interesting though, if I read the book in my first language, Japanese, I don't think I like the series because each story is too feminine and simple. However, I love reading the book series in English because I quite can enjoy reading them in English! I really think the author's series is very good for English learners, especially for female learners!

今回の編み物教室、prayer shawlのクラスの参加者に起こる事件（まさに事件！）にハラハラドキドキしました。勇気と信じる心、思いやりに感動します。

There's a new flower shop on Seattle's Blossom Street - a flower store called Susannah's Garden, right next door to A Good Yarn. Susannah Nelson, the owner, has just hired an assistant named Collet Blake, a young widow who's obviously hiding a secret - or two.
When Susannah and Collet both join Lydia Goetz's new knitting class, they discover that Lydia and her sister, Margaret, have worries of their own. Margaret's daughter, Julia, is the victim of a random carjacking, and the entire family is thrown into emotional chaos.
Then there's Alix Townsend, whose wedding is only months away. She's not sure she can go through with it, though. A reception at the country club, with hundreds of guests she's never met - it's just not Alix. But, like everyone else in Lydia's knitting class, she knows there's a solution to every problem... and that another woman can usually help you find it!

久々に読んだペーパーバックです。シアトルのブロッサム通りに住んでいる女性たちの物語です。極めて現実的な日常を描いていますが、その中には、恋愛、結婚、妊娠、不倫、裏切り、犯罪、再会、など盛りだくさんです。いろいろな事件に巻き込まれながらも、愛や友情を育てていく女性たちのお話です。歴史や政治などの固い本と違って、こういう本はとてもリラックスして、安心して読めますね（＾ｕ＾）
