Since I didn't have basic knowledges about politics, this book helped me gain them. For example, I found out the fact that political power becomes corrupted over time. And I was surprised to learn that bureaucrats in general have corrupted so much as long as I believe what the author illustrates. If it is true more or less, they should be punished strictly and bureaucracy must be reset thoroughly.
Come to think of it, I remember that some topics in this story were mentioned in "Ryusuke Kaji's view" or "Kaji Ryusuke no Gi", an adult comic story written by Kenshi Hirokane. When reading the comic again after reading this paperback I could feel politics in Japan more familiar than before.
