特に大事件が起こるわけでもない、普通の人々の毎日が綴られているお話なのになぜか引き込まれ、先が気になってしょうがなくなる本です。それぞれの登場人物たちがなんらかの悩みを抱えているのですが、Blossom Streetにある毛糸屋さんの編み物教室に参加したことをきっかけに人生が少しずつ良い方へ変わっていきます。とってもハートウォーミングなお話です。

It might be bother you, and you might not like reading it. However, I hope my review help you a lot after you read "The Shop on Blossom Street".

I love reading books in English. It's one of my favorite ways to come on my comprehensions skills.

Yesterday I finished reading "A Good Yarn" in English. The book is a sequel story to "The Shop on Blossom Street". I'm a big fan of the series, and the author, Debbie Macomber is my favorite author.

I think her book series are really good for English learners , especially females, because each series is consist of lots of chapters. Each chapter is written by short story. Therefore, it isn't pretty difficult for us to keep reading. In addition to that, the contents of the series are full of common topics that we females can understand very well.

As the second book "A Good Yarn" is a sequel story to the first book "The shop on Blossom Street", if you are interested in my review, I suggest you to read the first book. I can tell you that you definitely can enjoy reading it.

I already has started to read third one. I think the series is published five or six series. Therefore, I really would love to read all of them. After I come over the series, I also would like to try other her books.

英語はsuper級に読みやすかった。
シドニィシェルダンやダニエルスティールより読みやすいかも。
ストーリー的には大きな事件もなく先も読めてしまうようなお話なのだけれど、読んでいるうちに登場人物が隣に座って編み物をしているような感覚になる。
わたしは好きです、この感じ。

2作目も心あったまるエピソードで面白かった！！！
1作目を上回るのなんて難しいだろうなーと思って読み始めたけど・・・
すごいね！！！
早く3作目を買わなくっちゃ！！！

洋書に興味がある人に、ぜひ読んで欲しいシリーズです。
英語も簡単だしね！
スラスラと読みやすい上に、ページ数も結構あるので
達成感あるよ！！

Debbie Macomber さんの第２弾、というより、ほんとはこっちの方を先に読むべきだった(゜o゜)　先日読んだ、Back on Blossom Street より年代は遡っています。主人公は同じ、他の登場人物もだぶっています。お話としては独立しているので、読む順番が逆になっても支障はありませんでしたが。
Lydia Hoffman owns the shop on Blossom Street. In the year since it opened, A Good Yarn has thrived ― and so has Lydia. A lot of that is due to Brad Goets.
But when Brad' ex-wife reappears, Lydia is suddenly afraid to trust her newfound happiness.
Three women join Lydia's newest class. Elise Beaumont, retired and bitterly divorced, learns that her onetime husband is reentering her life. Bethanne Hamlin is facing the fallout from a much more recent divorce. And Courney Pulanski is a depressed and overweight teenager, whose grandmother's idea of helping her is to drag her to senior's swim sessions ― and to the knitting class at A Good Yarn.
４人の女性がそれぞれ最悪の状態に陥り、悩んだり、悲しんだりしながらも負けずに強く生きていきます。そしてそれぞれが人生の好転のチャンスをつかみます。軽快なテンポでとても読みやすく、思わず「がんばれ、Lydia！　Elise！　負けるな、Bethanne！　Couteny！」と叫びたい気持ちになります（＾ｖ＾）
彼女の本はまだまだシリーズが出てるので、また読んでみたいですね。

面白かった。そして、読みやすい。まぁ先が読めちゃう展開で、ストレートなハッピーエンドなので少々物足りなかったりもするけれども。読むものに困ったら、この続編を読んでみようと思う。
