女性探検家3名の砂漠横断、登山、ヨット世界一周の話。
そもそもの探検が厳しいものであるというのは分かるのだけど、それにしてもなんか突発的で場当たり的な行動で探検者自身もその部隊・動物もかなり危ない目に合ってしまっているのでは…？とちょっと思うところが多かった。
書き直しの際に色々削ってそういう印象の話になってしまったのか、それぞれの探検が今から何十年も前の話だから価値観が違うのか…。

リライトのせいか、もともとか分からないが淡々と記録のみ薄く記述してあった。ラクダと一緒に砂漠、という最初の話が一番なじみがなくてびっくり。
