これも大分前に読み終わったのですが…（そして、なぜか私が読んだ本のISBNは登録されていない。ので、一番近そうな表紙の番号を…）

純粋に、まず、面白かったです。
写真を見なくても、パキスタンの様子が、というか彼女の出身地の様子がよく分かるくらい豊かな風景描写もあり。
タリバンが現れるまで、本当に彼女たちは穏やかに楽しく暮らしていたのだろうなということがよく分かり、なんか、今の（バイアスのかかった）イメージとはだいぶ違ったので、ちょっとびっくりもしながら読んだ。

仏教の聖地も大切にしながら、遠足地にしながら生活していたとか、意外過ぎて。自分のイメージも、かなり煽られているな、と、改めて反省。

そして、思った以上に彼女は（そしてそのお父さんは）活動家で、よくそれで、今回撃たれるまで平気だったな、って、逆に思ってしまった。。女子供には手を出さないだろう、という前提が普通に信じられる世界って、意外と捨てたものじゃないのかしら…？！

とりあえず、読んでよかった。
あっぱれ。
