老人ホームでの100歳のお誕生日にホームを逃げ出した老人の回想録。歴史的な人物と交流していたっていう。あまりに淡々とした人で、感情をあらわにしたのは、猫ちゃんが狐にやられたときだけという・・・。数名都合よく死んでしまって、そこもなんだかなぁ、と。歴史上人物たちとの交流が興味深かったけど、どれも本当都合よくうまく収まって、ご都合主義。2冊目を読むかどうかわからない。

痛快！傑作！とにかく面白かった！ここ数年で１番楽しめた本でした。
