最初に思ったのは、精神療法によってゲイの人をヘテロに「治せる」と考えられてた時代なんだ…という驚愕。
途中から犯人が分かってしまう。だって主人公がペラペラそいつに今後の行動を事細かに教えてしまうから。
Moodyが死んだときは主人公の馬鹿さに腹立ってしまった。
それからも早合点と思い込みで行動するし、本当に医者か？と思う行動と思考の軽さ。明らかに自宅の鍵壊されて侵入されてるのにMcGreavyが逮捕しに来るとかなんで思うんだ…。Anneの電話も住所も嘘だったと分かったのに、なぜ夫について外国に発つという話だけは信用して航空会社の予約を辿ろうなんて思うんだ…。
ラスボスも行動がいちいち小物くさい。ひき逃げ未遂とか病院への襲撃とかボス自らやってたんかよと。妻の懸想相手への嫉妬で動いてるところとか小物過ぎる。
The Sky is Fallingの荒唐無稽なストーリーに比べたらマシかなぁと最初の方は思っていたが、シェルダンはシェルダンだった。質の良くない2時間ドラマのあらすじを読んでるような読後感だった。スラスラとは読めるんだけどね…。
